Han 86 Lv. 20 Midline Laser

Han 86
Assault Rifle

The Han 86 is the most-picked AR in MW4 multiplayer right now and has the fastest close-range kill speed in its class. It also holds a strong TTK out to 40m. Its 740 RPM fire rate and 30+1 mag give a balanced slayer a fast-killing, easy-to-control rifle without needing max-level attachments.

Perks / Abilities

Quick Fix
Perk 1, unlocked from the start. Health starts regenerating right after a kill or while capturing or holding an objective, so you can chain fights.
Fast Hands
Perk 2, unlocks at player Level 12. Faster reloads, weapon swaps and equipment use, which covers the 30-round mag between fights.
Blood Rush
Perk 3, unlocked from the start. Kills reset your stamina so you can sprint straight into the next fight and keep map control.

Secondary

Pistol
SANG 9mm
A starter pistol that's free from the moment Create-a-Class opens. Use it as a quick swap when the Han 86 runs dry. Its attachment unlock levels couldn't be confirmed, so it runs stock here: equip whatever early-level ADS or mobility attachment shows in your gunsmith.

Equipment

Lethal
Frag Grenade
Cook it to clear head glitches and power positions before you challenge a mid-range lane.
Tactical
Flash Grenade
Throw it into rooms and around corners before pushing so you get free ADS time with the Clutch-LS.
Field Upgrade
Portable Radar
Shows nearby enemies so you can plan your rotations, and it's still useful against players who aren't running Ghost.

Why it's meta

The Han 86 is the top AR pick in MW4 multiplayer. It kills faster than anything else in its class up close and still holds a competitive TTK in mid-range fights. Recent patches cut its headshot and neck multipliers, so the gun now rewards consistent upper-body tracking more than headshot-only aim. This setup is built around low recoil. Every attachment unlocks by weapon Level 20, and the build is close to the beta's low-recoil versatile setup, which already played well at almost every range. You don't need max-level grips or stocks to get the meta feel.

Counters

  • SMGs like the ISO Nightshade and PPSh-41 in tight interiors, where this build's ADS and recoil setup gives up mobility.
  • Snipers and long-range rifles like the KG-7 Vulcan and Signal 50 holding long sightlines beyond the Han 86's effective range.
  • Ghost players, since Portable Radar and UAVs won't show them, plus Flash and Concussion grenades that punish you for peeking predictably.

Playstyle tips

  1. 01Play the 15–40m band. This is where the Han 86 beats SMGs on range and still kills faster than slower ARs, so hold lane edges instead of sprinting into close-range rooms.
  2. 02Aim for upper chest and keep tracking. Headshot and neck damage were nerfed, so steady body hits win more fights than chasing heads.
  3. 03Pre-aim common angles. The Clutch-LS gets you on target fast, but the beam shows when you're aiming, so line up before the enemy sees you.
  4. 04Use Quick Fix and Blood Rush together. Take a fight, start healing from the kill and sprint straight to the next angle before the enemy team can trade.
  5. 05When you hit weapon Lv. 18 and 19, try the Hanbit Lightning-7 464.82mm barrel and the Cronen R808 optic for bigger maps, then swap back to RK8 and Micro D-3 for 6v6 cores.
